In 1953, two seemingly different men came together in a private apartment in Lörrach, Germany, to found a new company: Swiss engineer Georg H. Endress, 29 years old, tall and strong; and the 58-year-od German bank manager Ludwig Hauser, slim in stature. Little did the two of them know that they had just laid the foundation for a worldwide success story.
Over the year, Endress+Hauser developed into a global leader in measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering. Customers all over the world and from various industries benefit from high tech measurement, as well as process automation and optimization in terms of economic efficiency, safety and environmental impact.
