Proven in use in a wide range of applications in numerous industries: Differential pressure transmitters offer the possibility of continuous level measurement as well as volume and mass measurements in liquids. They are suitable for all types of media, both in standard applications and for applications with high process pressures and temperatures.
Measuring principle
For differential pressure measurement in fill level applications, a sensor module measures the hydrostatic pressure, which increases or decreases depending on the fill level due to gravity. A second sensor module measures the head pressure. The level is calculated in the transmitter from these digital values.
